The development of innovative medical devices and their successful use requires appropriate training of the end users. We believe that our experienced clinicians can strongly support a development team throughout the translational process (from early laboratory testing to physician training).
Act-Inno is specialized in the support of cardio- and neurovascular medical device developments. We have a well-equipped experimental surgical facility that can be used for training and simulation purposes. We also operate the Cardiovascular Training Center, which is equipped with state-of-the-art hybrid simulators to improve interventional skills. Such immersive learning methods have become an indispensable part of medical teaching. Several latest generation endovascular simulators (G7, G7+, TEE/ICE simulators, all from Mentice) provide a realistic training environment for residents, industry personnel, engineers but also experienced interventionalists. We tailor training sessions to your needs to ensure the best possible learning experience.
Cardiologists with a flair for continuing education teach a wide variety of interventions:
The “Clinical Anatomy Training and Research Unit” of our partner sitem-insel provides additional infrastructure, which is useful for a wide range of surgical trainings. Nine OR tables can be run in parallel for specific surgical interventions on human tissue.
We also offer tailored training courses for a wide range of end-users. You can use fully equipped lecture halls, the “wet-lab”, video broadcasting infrastructure and assistance in event planning.
